I cant tell you how excited I was do get to do a session with this awesome family. Not to mention how lucky I am to be able to call them family now WOOHOOO. I first met them the first year my husband and I started dating (His Aunt and Uncle) when we took a trip to Ohio. Oh man were they so much fun! So when they came in for our wedding I couldn't pass up the chance to get them in front of my camera. Of course, them being from Arizona where it was 105 degrees outside they get here and it was in the low 60's and they were all freezing. I have to admit I was a little chilly this day also. They toughed it out and we were able to capture some great family pictures. Logan (middle left) is hilarious there is never a dull moment with this kid. He had me rolling laughing multiple times in the first 5 min I saw him. Jared (middle right) is the total opposite, at least around me. He was very quite and just kinda went with the flow. Jared and Logan both play baseball year round in Arizona and are VERY good at it. Pretty sure they will be famous some day. I got first dips on autographs when they do :). I have loved every minuet I have got to spend with this family and hopefully many more to come!!

Ashley and Cody
OK, so I saved this location waiting for the perfect shoot and oh my am I glad I did! I was so excited when Ashley contacted me because I know they were the perfect fit. This being said I didn't expect them to totally kill it! OMG I am in love with their images. Cody is so smitten, I have more pictures of him trying to catch looks as Ashley then I do of him looking at the camera. They are so in love and it was so much fun to be able to capture that love. This is one of those shoots where I am constantly smiling behind the camera. They country style with fun personalities made it super easy for me. I am so excited to share these with you! I hope you all enjoy!

The whole crew
Yay for getting caught up on the blog, its been way to long.
This was a fun group to shoot regardless of Brian mouthing me the whole time I was shooting. I have to say I wouldn't expect anything less out of Brian (snicker). I have worked with Brandy for a little over two years and I finally got the chance get her and her family in front of my camera. Sawyer (Brandy and Brian's son, bottom right) was not as excited as I was for this shoot. We managed to catch a couple smiles but that is all I was getting. Bella on the other hand (Brandy and Brian's daughter) ROCKED it omg is she gorgeous or what? When I was editing this image I was beside the fact how grown up she looks. I have a feeling they are going to have plenty of boys chasing her in no time. Along for the ride was Cassidy and Noah with their son Zane (top 2). Zane is beyond adorable and was working the camera. We cant forget about Grammy and Papa, I can tell you these 3 little ones LOVE their G&P. It was a lot of fun to watch them play and G&P swing them all. Yes including Bella, that was quite funny let me tell ya. I know what you are thinking and NO they didn't swing Brian. We all know he is a big kid but I am sure someone would have ended up hurt. :)

Barstow Family
Finally getting around to posting this beautiful family. If you read the previous post you will recognize SGT Barsow. After shooting SGT Barstow and Cody we headed over to the park to get the whole family involved. Cassie works with my soon to be mother in law, thank goodness because she knew we needed to come armed with M&M's to entice miss Lilly. Needless to say it too Lilly a little while to warm up to me but after a couple games of "where did Lilly go" and "you cant find me" we were ready. Lilly is a beautiful little girl and the camera loves her. We played lots of rock throwing while down by the water and they even took their boots off and hopped on in. I couldn't of asked for a prettier day for this shoot. Hope you enjoy.

SGT Barstow and Cody
I have wanted to shoot a
military session for quite some time now so whenever I got the chance to do
this shoot I was ecstatic.... Then I found out I got to also meet another type
of service men Cody (the dog). Let me start by giving you a little info about
SGT Barstow and Cody. SGT Barstow and Cody have been together for two years
this August. In these two years they spent one year in Afghanistan. SGT Barstow
is a Combat Engineer; right now his title is an (SSD) Specialized Search Dog
Handler. First off I want to say how thankful I am to have people like SGT
Barstow that serve our country and do a lot of things me and you would never
even think about doing, and Cody of course. When I first arrived at the kennel
I was amazed at the amount of dogs they have there. I could have spent all day
in there just petting them all! Then I was told that just like SGT Barstow and
Cody each dog has its own handler... so cool! The way Cody listened to and
respected SGT Barstow was amazing. SGT Barstow told Cody what to do and he
immediately did it and if he didn't the tone in SGT Barstow voice changed his
mind pretty quickly. When I first thought about this I was thinking "oh
man I bet these dogs are so serious and don't play around" WRONG!!!! Cody
LOVED playing with SGT Barstow, as you can see his eyes locked on his toy in
one of the below images. Like I said I feel so lucky to have been able to
finally do a military shoot. I hope there is many more in my future, for now I
am just going to gawk at these images because I absolutely love them. You’re
more than welcome to gawk away as well! I also got the pleasure of doing a
family shoot for SGT Barstow and his beautiful family (to be blogged soon).
Love,
Don't forget to thank those serving our country like SGT
Barstow and Cody!!

High School love
Allie is one of my first Senior reps so I found it pretty
cool that I got to do a session of her and her boyfriend Dalton. We met at 8am and
holy moley was it cold out we couldn’t feel our fingers (dang you Missouri
weather). I asked Dalton if he was doing this willingly and he said "It
depends on which way you look at it". The best answer I have got from a
boyfriend or husband to date.... but I am taking this as NO lol. As corny as it
sounds I love having young couples in front of my camera. Your first love is a
feeling you will never ever experience again in your life and to be able to
capture someone at that point in their life is magical. Hope you enjoy their
sneak peeks! LOVE WITH ALL YOUR HEART EVERYDAY

FUN FAMILY
When Kayla called and booked a session for her and her 2 boys I had no idea what I was in for. These boys were so much fun. Ethan the oldest of the two was very laid back and rocked his "Victoria's Secrets" pose for multiple times. Then there is Alex who was very silly, I quickly realized I had a 2 shot max before he started getting silly on me. Needless to say amongst the silliness these boys were very well behaved and knew how to work the camera.
