Morgyn + Zo (Downtown Columbia Engagement)

I just can't get enough of this downtown Columbia engagement shoot.  I met Morgyn and Zo while attending college at CMU and who would of thought I would be shooting their engagement and wedding a couple of years later. Zo's family is from Delray Beach Florida where these two will be saying I do. I am so excited to make the journey to shoot their wedding in 2 short weeks. Enjoy their engagement sneak peek.

Jessica and Patrick

I started off my spring session season with these two and it couldn't of gotten any better. Meet Patrick and Jessica.  These two have been married for 7 years and the love they share for each other is evident with every image. Not only do these two share a love for each other but they share a love of running/walking. Patrick is the 50K speed walking National Champion and Jessica just completed the Boston Marathon last week. Patrick is actually in China right now competing in the World Cup, good luck Patrick!! So, of course this was something we wanted to incorporate into their session.  Check out this rockstar couple.

Fall mini sessions

Oh, how I love fall. Is there any better combination than fall colors, beautiful lights, and fun families? Nope I don't think so. This past Sunday I had the pleasure of working with these families during this years fall mini sessions. I never expected them to fill up so quickly but they did and woah am I beyond appreciative. I want to say thank you again to all of the families who came out and endured the chilly weather for some fun with B.B.

There are very few days available for fall shoots so if you want to take advantage of the beautiful fall colors hurry and book your shoot now before its to late.

Devyn - Glasgow MO model/concept shoot

Boy oh boy is this girl gorgeous. I happened to be shooting a wedding at the Lake of the Ozark's this summer where Devyns mom was doing hair and makeup. I will be honest I have no problem seeing random people and telling them how pretty they are, so I told Devyn that it was freaking ridiculous how tan she was and that no one her age should be this gorgeous. From there the rest is history and photographer lover, a couple weeks ago I got the pleaser of shooting Devyn and oh my goodness I was in heaven. I shot in total different style light than I am used, to stepping WAY outside my comfort zone. We had a perfect evening and such a fun time. Devyn you are beautiful inside and out you keep smizing girl :)

Feel free to share and pin images. Someone get this girl a modeling contract.

Hannah 2014 McDonald County Senior

I got to finally work with a senior from my home town!! Nope she isn't a model, crazy I know. Since I started my business 3 years ago I have stayed busy with seniors around the Fayette area but just have never been able to connect with a Mac County senior and actually get to shoot. So, after 3 rain outs and reschedules Hannah and I finally got to work together and I was beyond excited. I actually knew Hannah when she was very young as her sister and I played volleyball together and were friends, needless to say when I think about it I feel quite old. The morning we shot was absolutely perfect, besides the attack bugs we encountered in the flower field.... oh yeah and me almost knocking Hannah out with the bug spray can. I had such an fun filled morning getting to shoot with Hannah and her mom. Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be apart of Hannah's senior year.

Booties, baseball, and baths

I feel like I hit a home run with this shoot! (no pun intended) Photographing little ones younger than age 5 is always a feat in itself, lets be real they run the show no one else. I contacted mom with the idea of doing a lifestyle concept shoot where we.... yep pretty much just let the boys run the shoot. This time we incorporated things they love and BAM mom and I are all stars. OK and maybe some little white lies to get them both to sit on the base AT THE SAME TIME, monkeys and elephants in the outfield! (hey whatever works people). After doing the boy and getting all kinds of dirty they of course needed a bath. There were lots of laugh and booty shots during this shoot. Thank you to mom and dad once again for allowing me to have so much fun and capture some adorable memories.
